Life Time Fitness Torchlight 5K

Pre-registration 4:15 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Volunteers will work with participants as they arrive to pick up their race numbers, get wrist bands and check in. These participants have pre-registered online or by mail. the You will also help tear down the pre-registration area. 

Race Day Registration 4:15 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Volunteers will work with participants as they arrive to register. Participants will need to fill out a registration form, pay the race fee and pick up a race number. You will also help tear down the race day registration area. 

T-shirt Distribution 4:15 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Volunteers will hand out T-shirts to participants and wish them good luck! You will also help tear down the T-shirts area, including packing the left over T-shirts into boxes. 

Starting Line 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Volunteers will assist with setting up and tearing down the start area. Volunteers will also help direct participants from the registration area to the start line. This position may include some physical labor.

Water Stop 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Volunteers will set up and tear down the water stop. You will also pass out water as participants run past. 

Course Marshal 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Volunteers main job is to monitor intersections and control crowds along the course. For safety reasons we cannot allow volunteers under the age of 16 at this position unless accompanied by an adult. Police will be positioned at all major intersections. 

Finish Line 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Volunteers will assist with setting up and tearing down the finish area. You will also help direct participants from the finish line to the post-race party. This position may include some physical labor.

Refreshments 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Volunteers will help set up and tear down the refreshments area. You will also encourage participants to keep moving through the lines and restock the product as necessary. This position may include some physical labor.

Setup/Trash/Clean-up 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Volunteers will assist with setting up, tearing down and cleaning up trash on the course, along with assisting with sponsor and vendor needs.
